The Second Annual Forum of the Mission Ocean and Waters, held on 5th of March 2024 in Brussels, was a highly inspiring and rewarding experience for the FVA team. Valentina Vavassori and Selenia Marinelli had the pleasure of setting up and managing the BlueMissionMed booth, which highlighted the project’s innovative formats designed to engage younger generations and enhance their knowledge of ocean and water literacy.
Throughout the event, the booth attracted significant attention and sparked meaningful conversations. Visitors expressed enthusiastic and positive feedback, particularly appreciating the creative, inclusive, and replicable approaches developed to raise awareness among youth. Several stakeholders showed concrete interest in adopting similar methods or establishing new collaborations.
Beyond the exhibition space, the Forum provided a valuable opportunity to connect with a wide range of projects working across all European sea and river basins. The sense of shared purpose and collective effort was tangible, reinforcing the importance of collaboration in achieving the Mission’s ambitious goals.
