On 13 September 2024, the FVA New Media Research team took part in the 7th edition of the Forum Mondial de la Mer in Bizerte, Tunisia — an event that also hosted the Second Annual Event of the BlueMissionMed project. The Forum gathered over 70 experts and institutional actors from both shores of the Mediterranean, with strong participation on-site and online.
FVA joined this important gathering to support the shared mission of restoring and protecting the Mediterranean’s waters and ecosystems, contributing to the wider goals of the EU Mission Restore our Ocean and Waters by 2030. The event provided a key opportunity to engage with stakeholders, exchange ideas, and reinforce the role of communication and community involvement in the success of environmental missions.
